FAQ

Short answers for the things SetCue is built to do, and the things it intentionally skips.

Is SetCue a full workout logger?

No. SetCue is a split target board. It focuses on today's split, target weight, reps, and outcome.

Does SetCue teach exercises?

No. SetCue is for lifters who already know their movements and want fast progression math.

What is Training Max?

Training Max is the internal benchmark SetCue uses to calculate working targets. You can start from a current working set, such as 120 lb x 5, and SetCue estimates it for you.

How does progression work?

Done increases Training Max and rotates reps. Hard rotates reps while holding Training Max. Missed keeps the same target for the next time.

Does the app collect training data?

The current app is designed for local device storage and a local widget snapshot. See the Privacy Policy for details.
